About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a full-time Senior User Experience Designer to join our team, either fully remote or on a hybrid work model (we have offices in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto).

You will collaborate with our enterprise-sized clients to guide them through the process of designing and implementing amazing digital sites customized specifically with their needs in mind.

To get a picture of what this role looks like, imagine yourself:

  • Part of an inclusive and diverse team of Habs, passionate about helping people and organizations thrive
  • Facilitating workshops to uncover user experience challenges and insights to designing effective solutions
  • Researching and analyzing client's UX needs, information design, and stakeholder engagement, to design exceptional digital experiences
  • Conducting and creating empathetic ethnographic research, information architecture, and content strategy
  • Creating and executing presentations with clients and decision-making audiences
  • Working with clients and our awesome team of developers, designers, quality assurance specialists, and project managers to ensure successful project completion
  • Mentoring and coaching team members

More About You

To qualify, you will need to have course-level capabilities in User Experience Design, as well as 5+ years of designing enterprise-level websites, and have an empathetic approach to design and consulting. You will also need 3+ years experience conducting presentations and leading projects with C-suite/executive clients. Your past work experience should include areas of expertise involving advanced user experience (UX) methods, including analyzing complex data to produce actionable design goals and objectives.

We are not looking for specific hard skills as requirements. Extensive training will be given, however, background or foundation in the following will be considered valuable assets:

  • Senior User Experience (UX) design abilities, including usability testing and card sorting
  • Ability to focus on a project to completion, including months-long website design and implementation
  • Microsoft SharePoint, Sitecore, and/or Office365

An innovative consultant at heart, you are able to listen and create solutions for our clients with their immediate needs as your primary focus. You are independent as much as an impactful collaborator. Your integrity is an important aspect of your work, especially when it comes to delivering deadlines.

It’s okay if you don’t have perfect experience in all the role description or technology listed above. If you can learn quickly and work well with others to solve challenges just in time, we’d love to hear from you!
